Brief: re-imagine the familiar into something fresh and new, an initiative by The Lincoln Motor Company

Hello Again is a short film that explores how different people respond to the same piece of music, all captured from the point of view of a vinyl spinning on a record player.

I find this most interesting for two reasons:
First being how music is able to set the tone. When you watch a movie or an ad on TV or even news reports, it’s evident how much the selected audio changes the mood of the content. It doesn’t matter whats happening on screen. By changing the audio, you can make the same piece of content appear happy, emotionally moving, thought provoking, daunting, etc.

Secondly this piece really made me consider perspective. The whole video is shot from a single perspective (a record player), however it offers an insight into so many more perspectives.. I think this concept has the potential to be transformed across numerous other creative formats to further extend this idea.
